Fresh Tomato And Bacon Spagheti
- 8 oz spaghetti, whole wheat
- 2 tomatoes, medium, diced
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup basil leaves
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1. Cook the spaghetti al dente. Strain and set aside.
- 2. Heat the olive oil in a deep pan and sauté the garlic with the tomatoes and bacon for 5-7 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Toss in the spaghetti and mix well. Serve hot garnished with fresh basilleaves.
