Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the garlic with the chickpeas for 2-3 minutes.
Add the broth and thyme sprigs, season with salt and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the tahini, remove the thyme sprigs and process with a stick blender until creamy.
- Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice. Stir well.
Make the garlic bread:
In a saucepan add the olive oil and the garlic cloves and simmer over very low heat for 3-4
Brush the bread slices with the garlic olive oil.
Serve the soup hot with slices of the garlic bread.
