- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup water
- 3" piece ginger, minced
- 4 oz. bourbon
- 1/4 cup cranberry juice
- 1 lime, juice, +wedges to garnish
- 2 egg, white
1 tbs olive oil
Heat the olive oil in a sauce pan and sauté the ginger for 1 min. Add the honey and water.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Allow to cool and strain the ginger.
- Fill a shaker or jar (with a lid) with ice. Add the bourbon, cranberry juice, lime juice, the ginger syrup, and the egg whites. Shake until well chilled.
- Strain the drink into two glasses and garnish with lime wedges. Enjoy cold.
