Recipe-103-Pink Grapefruit Aperol Olive Oil Jello Spritz
What if we told you, that you could have dessert, your favourite Aperol spritz cocktail and your daily dose of extra virgin olive oil all in one? This is not about saving time, this is all about getting the best of both worlds and mixing it up in a creative drink. We have been experimenting with different cocktails lately, adding Kevoo and figuring out the perfect ratios so that all you have to do is soak up a lazy summer weekend with a drink in your hand (or two).
Dissolve the jello in a glass of hot water. Add the olive oil and mix well. Add a glass of cold water. Divide into glasses of your choice, leaving enough room for the drink.
- Add a slice of pink grapefruit in each glass. It will float to the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the gelatine is firm and doesn't stick to your fingers when touched.
- Add ice to the glasses until nearly full. Pour in the Aperol, add an equal amount of Prosecco and a splash of sparkling water.
- Serve cold with a spoon dipped in each glass.
