Ingredients
- 4 oz spaghetti
- 1 cup minced beef
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 1 onion, red, small
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper
- fresh basil to garnish
Directions
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente.
- In the meantime, chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Heat the olive oil in a deep pan and sauté the beef with the onions for 5-7 minutes, seasoning with salt, pepper, chili and smoked paprika. Add the garlic and stir, cooking for another minute.
- Add the tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the pasta hot, topped with the sauce and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
