1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the beef with the carrots for 5-6 minutes. Add the onions, and season with salt, paprika and, pepper. Sauté for 5 more minutes. Add the garlic and stir.
- 2. Pour in the broth and simmer over medium heat for 35-40 minutes, adding water as needed until the meat is tender and the stew reaches a thick consistency.
