- 1/2 cup rye whiskey
2 tsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp aquafaba (chickpea can water)
- 1 tbs chamomile syrup(recipe below)
- 1 1/2 tbs lemon, juice
- 3 chamomile tea bags
- 1 cup water, hot
- 1/4 cup honey
For the Chamomile Syrup
Make the syrup:
Steep the tea bags in the cup of hot water for 5-7 minutes.
- Bring the tea to a boil with the honey and simmer to reduce to a thick syrup. Allow the syrup to cool down.
In a shaker combine the whiskey with the olive oil, aquafaba, lemon juice and syrup. Fill with ice and shake vigorously until the drink is frothy and chilled.
- Strain into serving glassed and serve cold.
