Today, we're talking about a deliciously simple foil pack recipe that will be sure to make everybody smile. This pork sausage and winter veggie dish is extremely versatile so feel free to switch out any of the ingredients listed below or add in something else you like! We've even included diced apples for that perfect sweet finishing touch. So gather your ingredients, grab an oven-safe tray, and let’s get cooking; these tasty eats are sure to have everyone clamoring for seconds!
- 4 Italian sausages, chopped (4 links -7/8" dia x 4" long)
- 2 cups sweet potatoes, diced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 red apples, chopped
- 1 onion, large, sliced
4 tbs olive oil
1⁄2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbs fresh dill leaves, to garnish
Preheat your oven to 350°F and spread out 4 pieces of tin foil, each about 2 feet long.
Divide the sausages, potatoes, carrots, onions and apples into each parcel and season with salt and pepper.
Drizzle with olive oil and fold each parcel tightly.
- Bake for 30 minutes and serve hot, garnished with fresh dill.
