Recipe-123-Bulgur Stuffed Peppers
Everyone needs a go-to stuffed peppers recipe. Traditionally made with either rice or both rice and minced meat in Greece we call these ‘Gemista’, meaning ‘stuffed’. This is our take, with bulgur, onions, fresh tomatoes and lots of parsley for extra flavor. This might be the best way to use up those bell peppers in your fridge, definitely worth the oven time.
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
- Halve the peppers and scoop out the seeds. Arrange on a baking pan.
- Divide the mixture into the prepared peppers and bake for 20-30 minutes until the bulgur is cooked through.
- Serve hot.
